Welcome to Ærø
If you are visiting Ærø with your own kayak, you can use Marstal Kajakklub’s guest storage facilities in Marstal or Ærøskøbing. Please read the information below and contact the key collection point before you arrive.

Bring your own kayak The guest arrangement provides storage for your own kayak and equipment. It does not include the use of the club’s kayaks, SUP boards or other equipment.

The clubhouse at Det Lille Hav
The clubhouse is located at Det Lille Hav at the southern end of Marstal Harbour. The guest key provides access to the designated guest storage shed on the right-hand side of the clubhouse when viewed from the water.

Ærøskøbing
The kayak house at Vestre Bådehavn
The kayak house is located at Trekanten by Vestre Bådehavn and the marina in Ærøskøbing. A limited number of spaces are available for visiting paddlers to store their own kayaks.

Guest Service is normally staffed on weekdays from 10:00–14:00 between 1 March and 1 October. Please contact them before arrival.
Before you arrive
How to get the key

Contact us Contact the key collection point before arrival, particularly outside the high season.

Tell us your dates Tell us the location, dates, mobile number and the number of people and kayaks.

Collect the key Collect the key during staffed opening hours and pay the DKK 200 guest storage fee.
4
Return the key Return the key as agreed when your guest storage period is over.
Please take care of the facilities
Guest storage rules
✓ Storage is for short-term use only and may not be used for staying or sleeping overnight.
✓ Always lock up after yourself and do not pass the key on to anyone else.
✓ Use only the designated guest spaces and do not block access to club equipment.
✓ Leave the area tidy and report any damage or problems immediately.
✓ Toilets, showers, electricity and kitchen facilities are subject to the harbour’s rules and charges.
✓ Overnight accommodation must be at a legal accommodation or camping location.
You are responsible for your own safety on the water
You are responsible for your route choice, weather assessment, paddling ability and safety equipment. Access to the guest storage facilities is not an assessment of your skills or approval of your planned trip.
